Our RETURN/REPLACEMENT/REFUND policy only applies if the books are damaged. The policy lasts 3 days. If 3 days have passed since delivery, we can’t offer you any refund or exchange.
The customer must shoot a video clip while unpacking the order and any defect/damage to the books must be visible in that video only. If the customer needs to raise a ticket for return/replacement/refund, the unpacking video is mandatory. We cannot provide any of the compensation for customers who do not have the video.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused.
Damages covered under refund/return/replacement policy only include:
- Severe spine damages, due to which pages are coming apart.
- In transit damages [corner bents/little dents/cover scratches does not come under this]
- More than 2 pages are misprinted.
- More than 2 pages are torn.
- More than 2 pages are missing.
- Smudge making the pages unreadable. There should be more than 2 pages like this to qualify for replacement.
Apart from the above mentioned issues, refund/reshipment/replacement will also be granted if books are missing in the order/wrong books are delivered. The unpacking video is mandatory for this one too.
PS: Sets like Harry Potter/Lord Of The Rings include boxes, which is delicate and might get damaged in transit. Our return/refund/replacement policy does not cover the damages if any to the outer box. If books are damaged, it will come under our policy, but we can only provide the customer with a partial refund for/if any 1-2 books has printing errors of some sort. The full set cannot be replaced at any cost. The full set replacement will only be provided if the outer box and all books have damaged in transit.
PS: Pre loved books are not eligible for return/replacement due to any kind of damage.
We do not have an automatic refund system. Customers have to message us on WhatsApp support number 8527780339 for refund if their prepaid orders are returned to the origin.
ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY
Orders can only be cancelled until 6 hours after placing the order because we provide our customers with 24 hour order shipment. An order which is picked up by the courier, in transit or out for delivery, cannot be cancelled. Full refund will be processed for orders cancelled within the specified time frame. Orders cannot be altered after placing. Address and contact details cannot be changed after shipment. We only accept order cancellation requests on our WhatsApp support number 8527780339
REFUND TIME
Refunds are normally credited in 5-7 bank working days if processed through payment gateway and instantly if processed through UPI
SHIPPING RETURNS/REPLACEMENTS:
Our courier service will pick up the book to be returned from the customer’s doorstep. We ourselves will pay the shipping costs for returning/replacing the item. The customer does not need to bother about anything.
In cases, when a shipment is undelivered/returned to us due to some reasons from the courier’s side, the customer will receive a full refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account statement again.
Then check for a mail you have received from Razorpay/PhonePe Payment Gateway to track your refund.

Shipping returns
COMPENSATION MEASURE CAN ONLY BE PROVIDED ONCE PER CUSTOMER.
The Bookish Treasure HAS EVERY RIGHT TO DECIDE THE COMPENSATION METHOD. THE REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY IF THE ISSUE IS GENUINE.
